Does "PLC Finder" work thru an L7 ControlLogix Backplane?

Ethernet (Copper) good:
A Rockwell Driver Package shows controller thru backplane path healthy:
PLC Finder Indicates ‘Connected’ but is icon orphaned?:

Meanwhile back at TagProvider Connections. Seemingly unable to remove / re-add New Connection (refers to AssetTree):
Back at AssetTree (no impactful actions available to reset / re-add):
I’ll recheck for Firewall settings (seemed clean from a parallel VM into same controller last I checked).
AssetTree appears stuck, so will go for clean project and start again and report back. Will start from clean project and will retry ‘flatter controller’ like a MicroLogix (not 850 but 1100). Have more images, but account currently restricted to 1 image / post.

Hi BamFord,

Please verify the exact model of your PLC to ensure it is supported by our system. You can refer to our documentation for detailed information using the following link: AB Rockwell ControlLogix and CompactLogix devices - v10 - Tatsoft LLC

Best regards,
Gabriel Caetano.

Thanks Yes. Based on the documentation and since controller is an L71 (vs. L8x), I choose “Other” for Controller Type. Controller more specifically is 1756-L71 V20.54 and it is being accessed via an Ethernet 1756-EN2TR Module V11.001.

Now, this is going through an OpenVPN telemetry to get remote access to controller which is probably not helping us here. But in fairness / comparison, this same telemetry to controller is communicating through legacy OPC Driver tool as RSLinx Classic.
